I think craftsmanship has always been

one of the major things I m bringing to fashion.

Something is so intricately made

and there s so many hours of work

that go into something,

that it just makes that much of a difference

on the final garment.

That.

Then this, which is the white version of

that top with the pants.

And then this, that, with the blue skirt.

[Jason] Having started making miniature clothes,

since I was young,

I was always akin to the smaller details

that make a huge difference.

I always sort of seek contrast.

I think that s what makes clothes modern.

Oh, I know what to do.

Put it what that and that.

Try those three together.

It s gonna work guys, I m just sayin .

I m just putting it out there.

Often the start of my collection

is tackling two completely different ideas

and put them together in one collection.

For the resort collection,

I was really inspired by insects

and also the idea of a man-made nature.

And it grew so organically

from these little bugs I was making

out of Swarovski crystals

that were also quite jewelry-like.

Originally this was here

but I just thought the transition to evening was too stark.

Between like, that, super-cas .

And then I thought this actually breaks up the,

this was originally after that,

but it breaks up the coral a little bit,

makes that a little bit more of a story.

I really wanted no plan B.

We want everything to be exactly the way we wanted it.

[Jason] What truly defines designer fashion

is how it s made

and the material that it s made with.

Every bead counts, every crystal counts,

every setting counts.

That s the fun thing about Swarovski,

there s always something new to discover.

I always loved the idea of storytelling

and I think everything around the clothes

has to contribute to that.

How the fabrics and the outfits transition

from the first look to the last look,

it s really about weaving the story

and having it being told through the clothes.

I think it s a lot of trial and error

and it s a lot of exploration and experimenting.

It s one of my favorite parts about fashion,

is the endless exploration and creation process.

I believe every day is an occasion

and we should always dress up.
