I don t know what to ask you,

because you re perfect!

Oh, what?

Do I still owe you money?

You re talking to a very little man,

I m not sure I can carry that to your hotel room

Well, you figure it out!

You understand me, you make me a promise.

You re absolutely right!

You re going to steal something.

I want her. Okay.

(upbeat rock music)

Have you ever been here before?

Yes! Do you have

any advice for a newbie?

Paris left with many stares.

Comfortable shoes. Are you

wearing comfortable shoes?

I made them comfortable. How so?

I added some very glamorous Dr. Scholl s gel tap pads.

Shoes are comfortable, neck is a little tight.

Oh, I know and it s hot, too.

I would say tequila summers. (laughs)

Yeah, it s called a drink!

Drink lots of water.

Keep it together until the after party.

A little bit of tequila I was just going

to say tequila.

In a shot glass? A sip.

What advice would you give me?

To sneak around the Met at night.

It feels really naughty. It s really naughty.

It is kind of like my first time in a certain way.

I m looking for advice.

Just have a wonderful time, duh!

I couldn t come up with anything better, I m sorry!

All right, take it in, you have so much to learn.

It s a moment cuz you ll be able

to tell you grandkids about it.

(upbeat rock music)

I m such a fan!

Aw! Thank you so much!

I m so starstruck now.

Do you ever get starstruck?

Yes, of course, when Anna Wintour was out there,

I was starstruck!

I did just meet Oprah Winfrey,

which is pretty mind blowing!

I just saw Oprah Winfrey, and Anna Wintour and

it was like Albert Brooks in Broadcast News.

I just immediately started sweating.

I just tripped right in front of Oprah,

and I loved it.

I thought I was awesome.

[William] This whole exhibition is about American Women.

Is there any American woman that you haven t met?

And you would like to meet past or present?

Wow, that s a huge, that s a

That s a really good question.

Michelle Obama, actually, I would love to meet.

I would say for me, Patti Smith.

Well, I met Hilary Clinton once,

but it was only quickly in passing.

But I d love to have a proper conversation with her.

Any American woman that you would like to meet?

My favorite one is (mumbles)

from the famous Steichen photo.

I think American women have incredible confidence

and there s a beautiful strength to American women

that I find very inspiring.

(upbeat rock music)

[William] How d you decide what to wear?

I was up in the middle of the night,

and Style TV or Fashion TV was playing runway shows.

And Zuhair Murad s show came on and I saw it,

and I was like, I gotta have that dress!

I m wearing Halston Heritage which I m very excited about.

Gwen, who made the dress?

We made the dress. Yes, L.A.M.B.

American inspired? Very much.

What are you wearing? Ralph Lauren.

A little Hollywood siren

with a little 90s grundge hair thing goin on.

Has the American woman influenced you at all?

Yeah, actually all the styles combine

and I think that s the richness of this country.

And what are you wearing? Alexander Wang

I appreciate American woman s style

but I like being Brazilian.

When they said the theme

American women throughout history

and them representing themselves,

I was like, oh yeah, I m going to represent myself.

I m just going to be myself.

(upbeat rock music)

[William] Hear those horns?

It s time to go in to dinner.

I can t thank you enough for sharing this evening with me.

This has been a great night!
