Vogue s Senior Beauty Editor Tries The Viral Margiela Glass Skin
Released on 01/23/2025
[Narrator] Come with me to Pat McGrath s office
to get the viral Margiela glass skin.
And by the way, once the makeup starts going on,
I can t talk at all.
First things first.
I gotta get that classic Pat McGrath glam.
And here it is, the glass skin mask.
We started with spotlighting,
so they just put it on my cheekbones
and on the top of my nose.
There s two steps when you re applying.
Paint it and then you have to use a blow dryer
on a cool setting to set it.
Before going all in, we needed some coffee.
Did the elevator just hit me?
Ugh, like I said, I can t talk.
So here s my order.
Straw to make sure I don t use my face too much.
Okay, we re back.
We re going in for that full Margiela look now.
Step one, we ve got a layer and then blow dry.
I feel like this is everybody s dream look
for me at the Vogue office cause I can t speak
and I literally never shut up at the office.
You have to make sure it s fully dried
before you can paint on the second layer.
And so this is how you do it by touching the face.
Round three is on.
I m officially a Margiela girl.
Okay, I ve been here five hours.
I m starving now.
Final step is obviously showing this look off.
Sorry, gotta go, my rides here.
