Tonight s Super Bowl in Miami, Florida—which saw the San Francisco 49ers facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs—was a star-studded event. We were prepared (at least in theory) for the performances: Demi Lovato opened the show with her rendition of the National Anthem while Jennifer Lopez and Shakira headlined the halftime show.
But we were delighted to see music s royal family in the stands: Beyoncé and Jay-Z, along with their daughter, Blue Ivy, brought the ultimate star power to the field. For her game day look, Queen Bey opted for a more fashion-minded outfit in lieu of traditional sports jersey. (Would we expect anything less?)
Considering Beyoncé has a history of chic courtside style, it’s only natural she’d serve up a major fashion moment for football s biggest night. The star wore a green two-piece suit by Balmain (with no top underneath) that had a slight sporty feel, thanks to its white whipstitching detail. The styling, however, elevated the look: Bey wore sleek white pumps, white cat-eye sunglasses, and a graphic choker necklace by Messika Paris. So, while she may not have performed on the big stage this evening—she has twice before, once in 2016 and once in 2013—Bey s look was still very much a show-stopper.
