squad
Definition: A clique, close group of friends, BFFs for life.
Sample sentence: “While Taylor Swift’s squad is pretty impressive, I much rather be a part of Jennifer Lawrence, Adele, and Emma Stone’s exclusive squad.”
AF
Definition: Typically used to intensify the degree of something. Shorthand for “as fuck.”

dadbod
Definition: The body of a man, usually in his 30s, who was once hot but now has acquired a bit of a beer belly.

lit
Definition: To be in a thoroughly intoxicated state.

no chill
Definition: When someone is acting in an irrational way.
Sample sentence: “That guy I met last night has no chill; he’s been texting me all day.”
BBHMM
Definition: Used when someone hasn’t been good with her finances. The term originated from Rihanna’s song “Bitch Better Have My Money.”
Sample sentence: “Jessica just Venmoed half of what she owed for last night’s dinner, after promising the rest is coming tomorrow. Seriously, BBHMM.”
