Timothée Chalamet is on fire—he’s sweeping awards season with his film Marty Supreme and hurtling toward the Oscars next month, getting more openly affectionate with his partner Kylie Jenner, and flogging some of the year’s best movie merch. (Watch out, Charli.) A recent appearance in snowy New York saw the actor step out in boots that quite literally speak to the moment.
Photographed in the icy white-out of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, Chalamet looked pretty cozy in a rare pair of Jeremy Scott collab Uggs. The short version of the fuzzy beige boots feature blue-lined, orange and red cartoon flames, and are something of a grail among those in the know—Scott designed them as part of a collection for the brand in fall 2017. Chalamet is a known lover of statement-making and a little divisive footwear, having debuted the high-top pastel sneakers from Jonathan Anderson’s spring 2026 men’s offering. The Chalamet color palette, too, is expansive: from candy pink to matching ping pong ball orange with Kylie.
Chalamet styled the fire-licked and fuzzy shoes with an oversized black puffer and Chanel knit logo beanie. Already, the Uggs are proving to be a winter staple for Chalamet, who wore them out the previous day with silver cargo pants draped over the shaft and a black reflective North Face jacket. Far from the Uggs and leggings heyday, Chalamet leans more louche and sporty.
The humble and enduring Ugg boot experienced a bit of a renaissance in recent years (remember when Bella Hadid almost broke the internet with her ultra mini boots?), and this winter, have been seen on everyone from Charli xcx to Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence, styled with more relaxed silhouettes and modern accessories. You can expect to see them on the runways (check London designer Talia Byre’s collab for fuzzy ballet pumps and amped up platform boots) as much as on pilates princesses of the east and west coasts.
A New York boy through and through, you can trust that Timothée Chalamet is going to keep cozy looking cool.
