One of the best things about being _Vogue’_s Accessories Editor is that I get to meet with new and emerging designers—they’re so imaginative and passionate about what they do. I like to start off my workweek by taking a trip to visit a designer in his or her studio. It’s truly inspiring. So, here I am in Times Square, leaving the office to go to an appointment.
Speaking of young talent, this look is by one of my favorite designers, Timo Weiland. I like a dress over pants going into fall, and I like how people are reinventing denim right now—but most of all, I just love his clothing. I think the relaxed fabrics and elongated silhouettes are, even in something as casual as chambray, the epitome of chic.
