Current mood: Cautiously optimistic: The aim is to avoid frostbite and any and all climate-related misery at all costs—ideally while maintaining my outerwear game.
What I m wearing: From top to toe: Ray-Ban sunglasses, a vintage Christian Dior coat (my most treasured Christmas gift this year), and under it a Chanel jumper and Peter Pilotto cropped turtleneck—and Marni loafers.
On my agenda today: We re almost halfway through fashion week, right? Today I ve got some preview appointments mixed in with the shows, which means mobility is key, as is warmth!! I m headed to Public School, Derek Lam, Thakoon, Thaddeus O Neil, Edun, Prabal Gurung, and Opening Ceremony—which means being comfortable on my feet is key, as is staying warm—nowhere close to a guarantee when my Dark Sky app is telling me "Feels like -4." Tonight s agenda has a dinner and an after-party for Thaddeus O Neil downtown, on top of which I am determined to make an appearance at a friend s baby shower later this afternoon. I guess the message is, have flats, will travel!
