Fresh off of her Instagram Live chat with everyone’s favorite radical grandpa, Bernie Sanders, Cardi B took a moment yesterday to be a little saucy in a post to promote online shopping. The rapper posed for a photo in a white bra and leggings set, her signature long coffin nails lacquered in a shade of robin’s egg blue to match her electric blue hair. Next to her was her husband, the rapper Offset who wore a yellow hoodie along with a glinting diamond earring. The caption was to the point: “Daddy can you take me online shopping?” (We can safely assume that “daddy” in this case is Offset.)
Cardi B is very much used to being showered with gifts by her husband. For her 27th birthday back in October, he presented her with a colossal heart-shaped diamond ring. He also gave her not one, but two, Birkin bags for Mother’s Day last year. But, of course, under the circumstances, lavish shopping trips à deux are off limits for the time time being, at least in person. Clearly, Cardi B s appetite for retail therapy is showing no signs of waning though. (And given the state of the economy, that’s a good thing.) No doubt she’ll find an equally cheeky, chuckle-inducing way to reveal the goodies that end up in their e-shopping cart over the next coming weeks.
