Karl Lagerfeld took over the Ritz Paris today to stage Chanel’s Métiers d’Art runway show. The show brought together Parisian influences with a decidedly optimistic spirit—hard to argue against the coral flowers in models’ hair or the bitsy crop top worn by Lily-Rose Depp. Here, five things to know about the show while you wait for Sarah Mower’s review.

- The beauty look was topped off with an assortment of colored flowers and a white-rimmed eye.
- Considering over-the-knee boots are all the rage with the street style set, it was only a matter of time before the style ended up on the Chanel runway. Today, Lagerfeld sent them out in shades of hot pink and black.
- Lily-Rose Depp took her first runway turn for Chanel, walking after Delevingne in a golden crop top and midi skirt, with black flowers in her hair.
- Pharrell Williams took a runway turn as well, wearing what might very well be a Chanel-branded yarmulke.
