Last night in Dubai the fashion house hosted a blow-out to rival its previous revels in celebration of its resort collection—a show which required intense travel commitments for most, which is not to mention the small flotilla of boats required for the actual event. Guests at the fete included Tilda Swinton, Sandro Kopp, Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz, Vanessa Paradis, Dakota Fanning, Noor Fares, and Amanda Harlech, who took in a performance by Janelle Monáe under the potted palm trees along with a slew of Chanel models—most still wearing their gold-leaf eye makeup long into the morning.
