Our discoveries are nice to behold—they’re lovely to look at and inspire fun conversation—however, of all the tempting things to buy, what did we actually end up purchasing? “Despite the fact that no matter where I lay my eyes in my apartment, there are always at least three leopard-print items in my field of vision, I somehow did not own a leopard-print coat (jackets, however, are another story). I used to have one as a teenager when I was very into Arctic Monkeys and Tumblr, and since everyone is saying 2026 is the new 2016, I thought it was high-time I re-integrated the statement coat into my wardrobe. I opted for this Mango one after seeing it on a very chic girl on the subway, and it is perfect in every way. Another nostalgic buy this month was a hat from Moda Operandi’s collaboration with the iconic Soho bistro Raoul’s. “I’ve been on the hunt for lucite earrings ever since I set eyes on the pairs that were used in Fforme’s Fall 2024 collection. “With an infant at home, my mornings allow far less time for elaborate hair rituals. This month, I invested in a few pieces that help my hair look polished—even when I’m relying on an air-dry. Shop Cord, from content creator Mary Orton, makes the only baseball caps I’d ever consider wearing, thanks to their unmistakable chic factor. Alexandre de Paris remains my go-to for faux tortoiseshell hair accessories, though I was especially drawn to a striking black-and-white iteration. On the bitter cold days, I’ve been tying a triangle scarf around my head—I also picked up additional colors in a Christmassy green and a vibrant tomato red.
