Daria Shapovalova isn’t just a street style star—the creative director of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and curator of the showroom More Dash is more of a fashion patriot, known for trumpeting homegrown sartorial creativity from the likes of Ukrainian designers Anna K and Anton Belinskiy alongside her Western wardrobe. So what does a Ukrainian-minded fashion plate pack for AltaRoma, a week of emerging Italian-born and bred designers? Here, Shapovalova gives us a very bellissimo street style guide.

"It
s an Alberta Ferretti dress, which I think looks very Italian, so it gives me more power here in Rome. I love to match my outfits with the cities I travel to, and this one matches perfectly with the atmosphere and the landscape. Plus, I adore old cars—this Fiat looks so cinematographic! My bag is Prada, my flats are Chanel. The necklace is by Eshvi—a British label with Georgian roots. I love to give support to young designers, so in every one of my outfits, I should have something from young talents!"
