If you live in New York, you may have noticed a willowy, fluttery-lashed brunette—that would be Olivia Wilde—hanging around your part of town, shooting scenes for the upcoming film The Longest Week with her costars Jason Bateman and Billy Crudup. Though her character, Beatrice, has a penchant for precisely painted, winged-out black eyeliner (“The looks is very 60s,” she says), the real-life Wilde is more of a makeup novice. But since becoming a Revlon girl earlier this year, she has been sharpening her skills. “Liner is such a nightmare for me,” she admitted yesterday morning at the Lambs Club, on a break from filming. “But these are the greatest,” she added, pointing to the new ColorStay Crème Gel Eye Liners—little glass pots of liner with built-in brushes. “The gel is much easier, and it doesn’t flake or smudge,” continued Wilde, sounding every inch the expert. In fact, she paused, breaking into a wide grin, “I’m going to get my makeup artist [on the movie] to start using this—I think I’ll spend 30 minutes less in the makeup chair!”
