Dolce Gabbana Alta Moda and Christie’s Host a Cocktail Event and Dinner to Celebrate Impressionist and Modern Art

Last night Christie’s Rockefeller Center played host to more than just a dazzling display of Impressionist and Modern art. Designers Domenico Dolce andStefano Gabbana joined the famed auction house celebrating all things beautiful and marrying the worlds of art and fashion. Sprinkled between pieces by Chagall, Miró, Monet, and other great masters were one-of-a-kind creations by the designers from their Alta Moda collection. Naomi Campbell****, Lauren Santo Domingo, Tabitha Simmons, and Samantha Boardman Rosen were among those taking in the pieces flanking Manet’s Le Printemps. After the viewing, everyone took their seats for dinner where they were serenaded by tenor Matthew Polenzani. Che bello!
