Dua Lipa is kicking off her 28th year in style. The “Dance The Night” singer celebrated her birthday with a raucous rave with her nearest and dearest, including Simon Porte Jacquemus, Tove Lo, and Valentino CMO Yiğit Turhan.
Lipa, who is singlehandedly stoking everyone’s vacation envy with her Albanian summer holiday, kicked off her special day with a plunge in an ice bath (brave) and a wholesome paper crown that said “DUA.” But by nightfall she singer was ready to rave, and she picked an outfit up to the task. Under a red mesh bolero, the singer wore a monogrammed Gucci bralette. She finished the look with lavender pants, bedazzled to high heavens. Her jeans still offered a glimpse of the singer’s silver bellybutton ring.

If there’s one thing about Dua Lipa, she commits to a look. Accessorized within an inch of her life, the singer left nothing unadorned when preparing her ensemble, which elevated rave aesthetics, mixing classic festival pieces with luxury. Slung over her hip was a chain (very Warped Tour), which attached to her belt loop via a carabiner. Lipa wore a pair of enormous red goggle sunglasses, which she contrasted with oversized pearl earrings. Over her shoulder, she carried a silver baguette bag, which we hope she intentionally matched to her chain.
