Skinny jeans dominated in the Noughties, with everyone from emo rockers to Hedi Slimane’s Dior Homme devotees embracing the spray-on style. Some particularly notable proponents of the silhouette? Kate Moss, Pete Doherty and bands such as The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. Nowadays, of course, baggy styles have taken centre stage, with influential dressers like Emily Ratajkowski typically favoring a relaxed, low-slung look – at least until now.
While doing a coffee run with her dog Colombo in Manhattan this week, the model and author wore an outfit built around grey drainpipe jeans, which she paired with a navy Reebok sweatshirt, a vintage leather jacket, gold hoop earrings, tortoiseshell square-frame sunglasses from David Beckham Eyewear by Safilo and a pair of grey New Balance 574 trainers.
