Want to start the new year with a bang? Pun very much intended, inasmuch as Emily Ratajkowski has provided top-notch inspo with her new “back to work” look. Sexy, super cool and a modern take on bombshell hair, the model’s updated coif, complete with fresh fringe, deserves a deep dive.

In a Reel posted on Instagram, the model posed with the sort of hair that dreams are made of. Falling just below her shoulders, EmRata’s mid-length cut by Jennifer Yepez was styled with voluminous roots, a lived-in, textured finish and a hint of a wave through the ends. Best of all were her bangs.
Where to begin? Well, there’s the sweeping, curtain-style shape, which is super flattering on all face shapes, not just those that appear on campaign billboards, like Emily’s. Then there is the root volume, which encourages the hair to fall over her face just slightly… but not too much. Finally there is the piecey, day-three finish, which makes her fringe look low-maintenance and effortless.
