Melania Trump joined the President this morning on the south lawn of the White House for a moment of silence to honor those lost on September 11, 2001. The First Lady wore a belted Michael Kors coat dress in black jacquard and Manolo Blahnik stilettos for the occasion. This latest look comes after Trump returned to the White House yesterday in a Calvin Klein by Raf Simons top and Christian Louboutin flats, a colorful and directional take on off-duty style. For today’s somber memorial events, however, she opted for a traditional black palette and a more classic aesthetic overall.
The silhouette, a fit and flare coat dress, has come to define Trump s wardrobe in her tenure as First Lady. She has sported versions by Alice Roi (in red) and The Row (in white), and this latest look that was finished with a tonal floral motif, is Trump s most appropriate to date.
