This limoncello Club Monaco skirt is a great way to kick-start a bright Monday morning. A subtle pop of color makes far more sense against a sunny backdrop than the monochrome closet I brought to New York from London two summers ago. I don’t like to feel too girly, though, so I’ll offset this feminine skirt with non-frill pieces in urban shades—like this clay Helmut Lang T-shirt and gray clutch by Surface to Air.
I’m a big advocate for summer socks and sandals, so along with my Preen for Topshop heels, I’ve pulled on striped socks by the new Norwegian label With
Wessel. They stop any getup from looking too serious, and they’re great for warding off air-conditioning chills in the office.
