Model Sherry Shi was craving a change for fall—so she called up friend, Bumble and bumble creative director, and brilliant hairstylist Evanie Frausto to see if he had any ideas.
The duo brought the transformation to this year s Forces of Fashion stage and attendees got a live demo of both what a session with Frausto is like (his clients include Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Alexa Demie) and what goes down during model transformation appointment.
Spoiler alert: It was filled with laughs, practical advice, and a major reveal moment that left Shi super-pleased (just look at her face!).
Shi answered our biggest question of the day—"Are you nervous?"—with an emphatic no. “I trust Evanie completely,” she shared while he started to shear her lengths with a straight razor. Once he started, the hair started to fall.
Obviously, this wasn t like a classic makeover movie. Shi was gorgeous before and gorgeous after—just lost about five inches of hair and added a lot more layers. “I love to walk on the runway with a lot of hip,” she shared. “I m excited to do it with this hair because it s going to have a lot of movement.”
