Ordinarily, it’s the Oscar nominations that conclude the nominating portion of awards season, but this year, a slightly tweaked calendar means the BAFTA nods are coming in last—although, somewhat confusingly, the biggest night in British film will still take place ahead of both SAG’s Actor Awards and the Academy Awards.
