“I love the idea of wearing a beautiful bronze eye and a tawny, glossy lip to dinner after a day at the beach,” says makeup artist Gucci Westman of today’s beauty look, which arrives just in time for the holiday weekend. “Remember Bain de Soleil? It’s that whole gorgeous, glowing skin thing.” She likes to use a powder shadow all over the eyelid as a base, then go over it with a liquid metallic cream pigment and finish by blending the color under the lower lashes and at the inner corners “to give it a little oomph.” On lips, a tiny dab of nude gloss adds the right hint of glossy sheen.
