Hailey Baldwin embarked on the third leg of the four-city tour that is Fashion Month in Milan, Italy, earlier today. And to mark the first day, Baldwin wore a surprisingly tailored look cut by Alexander Wang from glen plaid. The menswear motif was a major theme at Ralph Lauren s show during New York Fashion week, where the all-American designer used it on everything from ball dresses to bustiers. In other words, the model s outfit was bang on trend.
Baldwin’s body-skimming dress and mannish blazer combo was a feminine alternative to the trouser suit. The double-breasted silhouette of her jacket lent the look a sense of structure, while the minidress proportions read youthful and fresh. Retro accessories infused the ensemble with a dose of 80s glamour: oversize aviator shades up top, a micro-lady bag, and boots that were clearly made for walking.
