Hailey Bieber won’t be beholden to boring workout wear. Recently, the Rhode founder and new mom has gone down the rabbit hole—in the sartorial sense, at least—by incorporating Matrix-inspired fashion into her Pilates uniform.
Yesterday, Bieber left a Beverly Hills Pilates class dressed like a very fit Neo in a black Saint Laurent lambskin trench coat, which she left open over her skintight black workout set. Keeping with the black leather theme, she strutted about in a pair of ballerina Mary Janes from The Row. In an extra futuristic turn, Bieber wore her hair slicked back into a bun and opted for a pair of small ’90s-inspired black sunglasses that would surely make Keanu Reeves nod in approval. The only diversion from her monochromatic look? Her on-trend leopard print pony hair tote, which also came courtesy of Saint Laurent. (That, and a glass of iced coffee, which she apparently took to go.)
Bieber has embraced the tough look before, covering her black Alo set in a leather bomber and a black top handle bag. But with her chunky sneakers and tall white gym socks, black baseball cap, and peach Stanley cup, it was a decidedly sportier twist on this outfit formula. In 2025, Hailey Bieber is leaning into the dark side.
