Earlier this week, the stars came out to play at Vogue World 2025 Hollywood edition, celebrating the rich dialogue between fashion and film. Hailey Bieber and Miley Cyrus were front row seat mates, both clad in all-leather. While Bieber opted for a sculptural black Mugler dress, Cyrus wore a cinched Saint Laurent jacket and pencil skirt. We saw them talking animatedly before the show kicked off, seemingly about their shared penchant for Saint Laurent’s leather ladies, and where they were fitting the looks into their glitzy fall schedules.
Last night (October 30), Bieber attended the 2025 WSJ Innovator Awards at the MoMA, New York City in look six from the spring 2026 Saint Laurent show; a strapless, close-fitting midi dress with a buckle belted waist. While Cyrus—in her matching leather hat, crisp white undershirt, heavy pencil skirt, and oversized jacket—leaned into a motorcycle mama vibe of the runway’s look 2, Bieber clean girled it up. She began the night in look 6’s sumptuous jacket, but slipped it off for the red carpet, styling the rest of the look with sheer tights and extreme-point white slingback Vendome pumps by Saint Laurent, with her hair pulled back in a slicked back up-do and side part. For jewelry, she added some forever favorites from Tiffany Co, including a platinum and diamond cluster bracelet and matching pearl and diamond drop earrings. Bieber forwent the hat.
Another, more surprising, accessory for the Rhode beauty founder? A pink Labubu (handed out to guests and honorees), which she posed with coyly on the carpet—somehow, matching her perfectly pink (in shade Piggy?) Rhode blush.
The Innovator Awards recognizes “leaders across industries who are changing the game in their fields,” and Bieber was honored for her work in beauty. Other attendees included Billie Eilish, Karlie Kloss, Britt Lower, Tory Burch, and Paloma Elsesser. Bieber was also presented with her award by Saint Laurent’s creative director (and Bieber’s close friend) Anthony Vaccarello.
Cyrus, often styled by Bradley Kenneth, enjoys a broad but well-established personal aesthetic that delights in ’70s silhouettes, punk rock details, and sophisticated and powerful tailoring by brands from Alaïa, McQueen, and more.
Hailey Bieber, on the other hand, looks to stylist Dani Michelle for her feminine, understated yet considered style approach, in big buttery leathers, The Row separates, killer vintage suit sets, and Schiaparelli corset gowns.
Where Cyrus and Bieber meet is their devotion to Vaccarello’s sexy, sultry, leathery vision for Saint Laurent. Both takes on the Saint Laurent spring 2026 offering speak to their individual tenets of style, and look equally good doing it.
