The Pretty Hair Ornaments of Fall 2015: From Chanel’s Ribbon Bands to Lanvin’s Slim Bows

If thefall 2015 collections are any indication, when it comes to your hair next season, you are going to want to put a bow on it—or a ribbon, or a pretty jeweled clip, or a graphic oversize barrette, or possibly even a brooch plucked from your jewelry box as the case may be. At Chanel this morning, hairstylist Sam McKnight slipped Chanel CC-embossed ribbon headbands over over models’ disheveled twists, while backstage whiz Julien d’Ys added a girlish subtext to Lanvin’s simple braids with a slim black piece of twine. Elsewhere, geometric clips (Suno), jeweled accents (Prada, Dolce Gabbana), and slim monochromatic pieces (Rochas) offered plenty of alternatives for accessorizing even the simplest of styles and looked that much better pinned into easy, imperfectly done hair.
