If you are a fan of Freaky Friday, the seventies Disney classic in which a mother and daughter find their personalities swapped, then **Hana Pesut’**s photo series "Switcheroo" will put a smile on your face. What started on a whim one summer’s day in Vancouver, with two friends larking about in each other s clothes, has evolved into a project spanning several continents, one where couples of every kind—husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, mother/son, sister/brother—agree to trade looks under the photographer’s gaze. "When I first started asking people to take part, nobody would,” says Pesut, who documented the wardrobe swaps of three pairs of Vogue.com editors in celebration of Friday the 13th, a day associated with strange and unexplained happenings. "They thought it was too weird."
Thankfully, a few did say yes, and when her “Switcheroo” pictures started surfacing on art and design blogs, the requests from willing participants came flooding in: Flip through her book and you ll see charming before-and-after pictures captured in all four corners of the globe, like the man teetering in his girlfriend’s peep-toe heels on the banks of the river Seine in Paris, or the bride who wears her husband’s suit at a wedding in Portland, Oregon. “It’s fun putting someone else’s clothes on. I love stealing my boyfriend’s T-shirts even just because he smells so good,” she says. “Some of the guys had never put on a skirt or heels, and I think they were often really surprised at how good they looked—they were like Wow, my legs look great! "
