Babe, wake up: HS4 is finally happening!

After much speculation, Harry Styles is finally returning with his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. It’s a long, silly title after a long, silly wait—but we endure.

It’s been four years since Styles released his Grammy-winning Harry’s House, the album that saw him call Wembley Stadium home for several nights in 2023. In the time since, Styles has partied at Berghain, run the Berlin marathon (in under three hours, mind you!), and watched the announcement of the new pope, in the flesh, at the Vatican. He’s also been matching with Zoë Kravitz on the streets of London, Rome and New York whilst they romantically roam around in various ensembles from The Row. Not a bad hiatus if you ask me.

Now, the 31-year-old returns with the new album and (!) a mammoth, 50-date tour. The global residency, called Together Together, will take the Holmes Chapel native to Amsterdam, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne, Sydney, and London from May through December. There will be six nights at Wembley Stadium and a whopping 30 shows at Madison Square Garden. Plus, he’ll be joined by special guests Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé, and Skye Newman across select dates. All presale and general information can be found on his website. Let the Ticketmaster wars commence… Meanwhile, his first single from the album, “Aperture,” is out very soon, on January 23.

So, what shall we expect of this new era? For starters, it’s all very sentimental. In recent days, Styles has put up cryptic billboards in cities from São Paolo to Berlin with messages like: “We belong together” (not a Wicked or Mariah Carey reference, I’m afraid) and “see you very soon.” At the same time, HSHQ became a community rather than a social media update page, with a website inviting fans to join a WhatsApp chat.

Styles is also in his sustainable fashion era, taking a liking to kitsch sunglasses like the ones on the Kiss All the Time album cover (and in the promotional image, taken by frequent British Vogue collaborator Johnny Dufort), which sees him under a disco ball in the twilight. It might be time for us to put on our dancing shoes.
