Model off-duty style has long held a sartorial mystique. Just think of The Greats who first called it into action–there was Kate Moss’s white tee and skinny jean combination outside of a Calvin Klein 1990s show; Cindy Crawford’s tailored leather jacket and duffle bag at an international airport; to more recently, Kendall Jenner’s breadth of chic The Row pieces throughout New York Fashion Week. It’s the kind of look that appears casually thrown together, yet reads entirely cool—a wardrobe built around “where did you get that” pieces?
H&M’s Fall Edit Must-Haves:

H&M shares our obsession–so much so that they took to the Paris Fashion Week streets to document top models’ style moments in between the shows, from backstage fittings to the streets. The campaign, called “In Betweens,” features the season’s top talent–Paloma Elesser, Alex Consani, Mona Tougaard, and more–sporting their self-styled H&M fall finds across the city. Slouchy leather bombers, sleek loafers, and menswear-inspired flannel shirts lead the charge. Speaking to the activation, H&M’s womenswear design lead, Eliana Masgalos, noted “This project celebrates that ethos by spotlighting individual style and creativity, getting to the very core of what we do at H&M.”
Whether it’s mastering model off-duty or fall-in-the-city style, there’s a subtle edge to this aesthetic, a hint of borrowed-from-the-boys cool, grounded in elevated basics that work seamlessly for everyday. Discover, and shop, all the fall essentials that have the supermodel seal-of-approval, below.
Mona Tougaard
Backstage or not, a roomy flannel shirt is one of the easiest–and chicest–essentials to throw on. Like supermodel Mona Tougaard, team yours with a tailored trouser, perfectly oversized leather jacket, and worn-in penny loafers. It’s a look that feels both off-duty and office-appropriate.
Paloma Elsesser
Leather and lace: The edgy, yet romantic fashion combination all the cool girls are sporting this fall. Start with H&M’s lingerie-inspired slip dress, then layer it underneath a tailored leather coat and pair of sturdy cargo pants. Per Paloma Elsesser, you’ll want to complete the look with a leopard-print handbag and a pair of oversized sunnies.
Awar Obdhiang
Move over shearling and leather, fabulous faux fur isn’t just for the depths of winter–it’s very much mid-season approved! Just look to model Awar Obdhiang, for example. When she’s not closing out the Chanel SS26 catwalk, you can find her cozying up in her H&M duster coat with sporty layering pieces and a retro sneaker.
Mariacarla Boscono
Rome-born Mariacarla Boscono brings ladylike refinement to her street style look. Channel your inner edgy, yet elegant city girl by wearing H&M’s slouchy leather bomber jacket with a matching A-line skirt, lace-trimmed camisole, and roomy top-handle tote. A combination that reads luxurious, never too showy.
Maty Fall
No matter the season, a miniskirt and moto boots are a dynamic duo. Here, find H&M’s leather-and-suede mini paired with their stompy, lug-sole boots. For that final touch of supermodel off-duty edge, layer on an oversized outerwear option and flashy leather belt.
Diane Chu
Smart, stylish, and sleek. Three words that aptly describe supermodel, Diane Chu’s, latest look. Steal her style with H&M’s boxy textured blazer, a pair of low-rise blue jeans, and a graphic tee. Polish it all off with kitten-heel ankle boots.
Jacqui Hopper
A canvas utility jacket is a model-off-duty must have season after season. For fall 2025, H&M’s corduroy-trimmed choice deserves all the spotlight. Wear it with a pair of leather-coated, wide-leg jeans, a blue-and-white striped button-up, and a plain, but perfect white tee for a final look that fits right in at Avenue Montaigne as it does your morning commute.
Alex Consani
Alex Consani’s signature maximalist style was on full display during Paris Fashion Week. Go bold and shop similar supermodel-approved staples, below, like relaxed hoodies, and bomber jackets, and over-the-knee boots.
