The star of Batman Begins attended a luncheon hosted by Chanel in New York as part of the Tribeca Film Festival and wore a pair of baggy jeans by the French fashion house with its signature black satin pumps with a toe-cap detail. The jeans feature the iconic double ‘C’ logo in a polka dot motif print and appear to be an extension of the maison’s most recent pre-fall 2023 collection, which featured several variations of baggy jeans and denim separates.
To complete the look, the actor added another very ‘Katie Holmes’ element: a basic white T-shirt, which she wore underneath a classic Chanel tweed jacket in navy blue. Katie also carried a bag (by Chanel, of course) in the shape of a crescent with the signature chain strap.
The Dawson’s Creek actor has truly entered her ballerina era – earlier last week she wore a pair of ballerina Mary Janes by Miu Miu with a long black maxi skirt for a night in New York. She shows that ballet flats can work for any dress code, as last autumn she wore a pair of leather flats by M Gemi with a pair of denim wide-leg culottes and a tank top.
