5 Things to Know About Balmain’s Spring 2017 Men’s Show

Olivier Rousteing presented his Spring 2017 menswear collection for Balmain today in Paris, bringing his Balmain Army of fans and friends with him. On the runway, Rousteing cycled through jeans, safari jackets, minidresses, and crocheted outerwear accenting each with plenty of gold details and chain embellishments. 1. Balmain hosted a celebrity-filled front row that included Dwyane Wade, Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, and Ricky Martin.

2. Male models Jon Kortajarena, Baptiste Giabiconi, Marlon Teixeira, and Francisco Lachowski—who’s taking over Vogue’s Snapchat today—all walked in the show.

3. As for the men’s looks, they were layered and über-bright ranging from pale blue denim to rainbow-hued cardigans, most topped off with a gold tasseled necklace.

4. Rousteing presented a selection of women’s looks too, worn by his favorite models Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Sasha Luss, Cindy Bruna, and Joséphine Le Tutour. Read more about the show’s casting here.
