Earlier this year, the world watched in awe when Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts led his team to a Super Bowl championship, besting the Kansas City Chiefs. Tonight, he marks a far different—but extremely fashionable—milestone: attending the 2025 Met Gala.
Hurts arrived at the Met steps with wife Bryonna Hurts, the newlyweds both dressed in Burberry by Daniel Lee.
“It is admirable watching Jalen perform in the NFL with such precision and dedication,” Lee told Vogue ahead of the gala. “As a couple, Jalen and Bryonna embody style and elegance, which speaks directly to us.”
Jalen wore a traditional double-breasted black velvet jacket with floral embroidery, which he paired with a statement hat that served as a visual ode to ’80s and ’90s hip-hop style. He styled it with a black silk tie and black studded leather Loch brogues. The football star accessorized with a Tiffany Co. brooch.
Bryonna, meanwhile, opted for a dramatic burgundy evening gown accented with intricate beading and a fringe flair. The embroidery on her dress was inspired by the tapestry shown at the brand’s fall 2025 runway show. According to Burberry, the hand embroidery took over 168 hours to perfect. “Bryonna Hurts’s look is an ode to the romanticism and revelry of eveningwear,” the house said in a statement.
