Jenna Ortega has found her perfect gothic match in Ann Demeulemeester. Sure, she’s looked major in a reptilian skin-like Ashi Studio gown, cosplayed as a pirate in Vivienne Westwood, and worn a shredded, ripped-up GapStudio jersey dress that’d make any mid aughts emo princess swoon—but it’s Stefano Gallici’s avant grade gothic vision within which Ortega really thrives.
Stepping out for the Belgian house’s spring 2026 show and sitting front row, the Wednesday actor wore a cropped, silvery and silky griege blazer with contoured lapels, a sheer, high-necked black crop top, and matching tailored trousers that flared at the bottom. Black feathers and tulle sprouted from her sleeves and waistband. On her feet, sky high platform boots from Louboutin. It was Edgar Allan Poe for the high fashion goth girls. The Raven realness topped off with aviators.
The actor was joined on the front row by Kim Petras, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Hill.
Ortega and her stylist Enrique Melendez have spared no detail in crafting such a strong aesthetic. The tried and true Jenna Ortega formula? Form-fitting and sheer gowns—like what we just saw in a cherry red format at Sarah Burton’s spring 2026 Givenchy show—and subversive suiting like that offered by Ann D.
Glam, as always, is by makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis and hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez, who lean into Ortega’s bleached brows with hazy brown smoky eyes, lashings of black mascara, Dior lipstick, and mussed up, tousled hair. There even looked to be a bit of crimping going on, to add a sprinkle of mall goth.
With flashes of pink brocade, military jackets, and pirate-leaning aesthetics adorned with feathers, tulle, and ruffles on the Ann Demeulemeester spring 2026 runway, there’s more than enough for Ortega and Melendez to keep killing it.
