She may have only just made her runway debut this past runway season, but Kaia Gerber has secured her fate as new supermodel royalty in training. And as such, she s already a natural when it comes to the art of a well-timed crop top moment. Yesterday in Los Angeles, Gerber tried on a new look for size: rather than slipping on a shock value blonde wig or painting on a transformative arc of black winged liner, the model referenced a beloved music icon s most famous 90 s signature—her abs—with a playful flash of skin.
Gerber stepped out in a white crop printed with the words “Just a Girl"—a winking reference to [Gwen Stefani] s chart-topping 1995 No Doubt anthem and the chiseled midsection, low-slung track pants, and micro tops she made her trademarks. Of course, some twenty-plus years later, at age 47, Stefani s abs remain nothing short of jaw-dropping. Needless to say, Gerber knows just where to go for lifelong fitspiration.
