It’s that confusing time of year when we’re stuck between two seasons: summer and fall. On some days, the sun lingers, tricking you into thinking it’s a nice, warm July day. The next day, a cold snap moves in, and you’re ready to rock your best outerwear with a cozy Pumpkin Spice Latte. And that makes getting dressed that much more of a challenge. But fear not! Kaia Gerber, a model who’s mastered the art of off-duty style, may just have the antidote. She was seen out in New York this past weekend in an outfit that’s well worth pinning to your early-fall mood board.
On her top half, Gerber full-on embraced fall with a leather blazer by Frame, a sleek piece that is shaping up to be the must-have piece of the season. (The model has also been wearing it nonstop the past couple of weeks.) She wore the blazer with a chunky, cable knit sweater for added warmth. On the bottom half, however, she clung onto summer with a pair of bike shorts and chunky white New Balance sneakers. As always, she carried a ’90s-style shoulder bag in brown—it s an AVA bag from Celine, made custom for her—and retro shades, two accessories that gave the fit a cool, fashion-forward finish.
