While the craze for haute track pants has spread to some of the most daring dressers in women’s fashion—Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, and Victoria Beckham, to name a few—it also appears the trend is gaining traction among dapper dudes. Spotted out last week with Kardashian West in Westlake Village, Kanye West showed off his spin on the style with a sporty slant, and on Sunday night in Miami, musician Common elevated the athleisure-inspired silhouette with a gentlemanly touch.
West stuck with a black-and-white palette from head to toe: His Enfants Riches Déprimés cross hoodie provided a graphic contrast to his single-stripe trousers. Grounding the look were West’s latest Yeezy Boost release, the aptly named Zebras, in black and white.
Common also offset his ensemble with a pair of sneakers, except it was the singer’s Bally leather trousers that stole the show. The hunter green joggers oozed casual cool, thanks to a short-sleeved button-down top and minimal accessories that let the luxe material shine.
