It’s not often that you see a gaggle of runway regulars out to dinner in the middle of Fashion Week. But last night Stuart Weitzman and Vogue cohosted an intimate soirée bringing together major models including Andreja Pejić, Chanel Iman, and Karlie Kloss for a quiet and relaxed evening. Ascending the stairs to La Sirena’s private room, guests were treated to delectable nibbles including zucchini fritters and fried rice balls, but it was the 360-degree photo booth that was the second-most-popular item before dinner.
Taking in the fun were stylist Micaela Erlanger heading out later that evening to Los Angeles for the Emmy Awards, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, and Zachary Quinto and Miles McMillan. As everyone took their seats, Kloss chatted up Stuart Weitzman CMO Susan Duffy, while RJ King caught up with filmmaker Gordon von Steiner. After bright and vibrant pre-dinner plates—think summer fresh salads and pesto pastas—it was time for the chic crowd to tuck into the sumptuous meal. Laughter was rampant as everyone discussed the day’s shows and the frenetic Fashion Week schedule, but all with a jovial subtext. But the best part? The chocolate torte at the end of the meal, giving the fashionable crowd a much-needed sweet finish to power through the rest of the week.
