However, Holmes s most unexpected fashion move came later in the evening, when she headed east of Manhattan to the U.S. Open in a Double RL denim jumpsuit and tweed blazer. The actress, who was spotted in the stands of the Emirates box, has long been a fan of Lauren’s refined approach to Americana fashion, and last night’s ensemble balanced a sense of heritage with modernity.
Holmes kept things simple in her faded blues, cuffing the cuffs and hems for a more relaxed approach. She added a dash of polish via a herringbone blazer, and styled it all with suede accessories (Tod s new suede double T satchel) that were equal parts laid back and chic.
