Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are going their separate ways.
After weeks of rumors, People confirmed that the singer and Pirates of the Caribbean actor have ended their engagement and relationship of nine years. They share a four-year-old daughter together, Daisy Dove. Neither party has commented publicly on the split.
Perry and Bloom first met in 2016 at a Golden Globes afterparty. On Jimmy Kimmel Live, she revealed that their meet-cute involved In-and-Out: Bloom stole a burger off of her and Denzel Washington’s table. “I was like, ‘Oh, you’re so hot. Fine, take it,’” she said. “And then I saw him at a party and I was like, ‘How are those onions resting on your molars?’”
Bloom proposed to Perry on Valentine s Day in 2019. “We went to dinner. I thought we were going to go see some art after dinner, but we pulled up to a helicopter,” Perry told Jimmy Kimmel Live. Yes, you know where this is going: “He asked me to marry him in a helicopter,” she added.
Previously, Perry was married to comedian Russell Brand. Bloom, meanwhile, was married to Miranda Kerr.
Recently, Perry was part of Lauren Sánchez s high-profile Blue Origin space flight, where a group of women traveled eleven minutes to the atmosphere’s Kármán line. She is also currently performing in Australia on her Lifetimes tour.
Meanwhile, Bloom has just been spotted in Venice ahead of Sánchez and Jeff Bezos s wedding. It is unclear whether Perry will also be attending the high-profile wedding.
