2016 was a good year for Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid, and last night the pair toasted to their successes in Los Angeles. Celebrating New Year’s Eve with a crowd of friends that included Hailey Baldwin and ASAP Ferg, Jenner and Hadid headed out to Hollywood hangout Mr. Nice Guy, pulling off one of 2016’s most risqué trends along the way: lingerie dressing. Hadid, who is a big fan of midriff-baring, wore an outfit that didn’t leave much to the imagination—a sheer, gray cropped turtleneck and matching high-waisted flares that revealed her black bra-and-panty set. Jenner opted for another form of boudoir dressing, and was dressed in a sultry lace-trimmed slip dress with a loosely fastened leopard-print robe.
Hadid and Jenner’s star has been on the rise this year in the fashion world, and their style certainly had that larger-than-life look about it. In fact, the ensembles were reminiscent of Kate Moss’s hard-partying ’90s wardrobe: The British model made headlines when she wore a completely transparent slip dress to a party in London back then. With their bold getups and confidence, it seems like Jenner and Hadid will be taking their supermodel titles into 2017, too.
