This weekend the sun was shining, the temperatures leveled out, and there was a bevy of pastels and creamy shades of ivory being sported on the streets: It would seem that spring has finally arrived. And if you had any doubt, the West family—that s Kanye, Kim, and North—took to the streets of Los Angeles to demonstrate three very different takes on one of spring s strongest trends: crisp, monochromatic white. Kanye opted for a rough and tumble utilitarian take on the palette in a distressed T-shirt and jeans, while Kim, in a figure-hugging peplum top and relaxed pleat skirt, married two of the season s most popular trends—in a shapely mash-up of prim with punchy.
But leave it to the littlest West, North, in a satin frock featuring neo-Victorian details—a trend we spied on the fall 2015 runways—to lead the pack. Which just goes to show, with the festival circuit about to start (along with climbing temperatures), there s no better time to find the right white look for you.
