After hours, the fashion set has been showing no signs of slowing down. Last night, on the heels of Rihanna’s epic block party that brought out everyone from Kimye to Justin Timberlake, and after his highly anticipated Givenchy runway, Riccardo Tisci sought to capture the same magic with his underground postshow celebration. The setting was perfect for the designer s New York City arrival: an urban space located just at the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge on Delancey Street solidifying Tisci s role as marrying high fashion with streetwear.
There to fete Tisci were some familiar front-row faces like Kim Kardashian West with sister Kendall Jenner, Brooklyn Beckham, Vogue’s Hamish Bowles and Virginia Smith, and distinguished athletes Amar’e Stoudemire and Victor Cruz, who were joined by Elaina Watley. Also in the star-studded crowd were a slew of music icons including Steven Tyler and Courtney Love, who boogied down with models Joan Smalls and Lily Aldridge. Between the music, the performers dressed up as a chic biker gang, and the festive treats to beat the heat, Tisci truly created a memorable evening for his first major outing in the city.
