Yesterday, model Karen Elson and Electric Lady Studios managing partner Lee Foster tied the knot in New York City, right in the midst of New York Fashion Week. (Elson wore a custom Valentino wedding dress by Alessandro Michele, no less.). The affair brought out a stylish crowd: Taylor Swift, Karlie Kloss, Rosalia, and Helena Christensen were among the A-list stars in attendance. Lana Del Rey, and rumored boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene, also stepped out together for the wedding—and it Del Rey’s pale blue dress immediately caught our eye.
Featuring a swishy hemline and halter-style neckline, Del Rey’s choice of wedding attire was perfectly on point for a summer wedding in the city. (We love the mesh Mary Jane flats). The dress also happened to be very complementary to friend Taylor Swift’s look for the evening—a cream linen dress with a pastel floral design all over it. It had us wondering: Do you think Lana and Taylor were on a text chain coordinating looks beforehand? Wouldn’t you? She certainly synced up her style to Dufrene, who marked his first public outing with Del Rey in a deep blue suit and white shirt. The whole ensemble made the case for clinging onto the final days of summer. Though, once fall hits, we can’t wait to see Del Rey in her signature racing jackets.
