It was a busy summer for Lauren Sánchez-Bezos and Jeff Bezos, who completed a grand Euro pre-nuptials tour from Monaco to Portofino, Cannes and Saint-Tropez, a Parisian bachelorette, and their lavish Venice-set wedding in June. The fun didn’t stop there, with more yacht stop-offs through the French and Italian Rivieras, and Ibiza. All the while, the Lauren Sánchez-Bezos wardrobe expanded, her own aesthetic codes interweaving with her surroundings: think a clingy, pink animal print Cavalli dress, sheer skirts and bodysuits, crystal-encrusted gowns and corsetry.
Now, the couple are back in the U.S. for who knows how long, but they’re making the most of Hollywood’s most favored celebrity spots for their date nights. Yesterday (September 6), the couple were spotted heading to Alba in WeHo, where Lauren wore a vintage 2008 Christian Dior by John Galliano Dress. She accessorized with a gold square clutch, a stack of gold bangles, and suede brown pumps.
The dress, in a chocolate brown shade with a plunging neckline, a twisted bodice, and cream embroidery and sparkly fringe detailing, is a tried-and-true for Sánchez-Bezos, who often looks to Dior, Roberto Cavalli, and Dolce Gabbana. She’s also a certified fan of vintage and special archival pieces (rumors swirled at the Paris auction of Jane Birkin’s original Birkin bag that Sánchez-Bezos was one of the losing bids), wearing a 2003 Alexander McQueen gown from the designer’s “Irene” collection to her pre-wedding dinner.
Jeff, meanwhile, kept to his own uniform, consisting of a navy polo shirt, close-fitting black jeans, leather Cuban heeled shoes, and aviator sunglasses.
While it’s clear Lauren Sánchez is most at home in summer style, what her fall fashion rotation will bring is anyone’s guess.
