Princess Diana may not have been present on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding day, but the newly-christened Duchess of Sussex paid her a special sartorial tribute. At her evening reception, she paired her Stella McCartney gown with an aquamarine ring from Diana’s personal collection, a Kensington Palace spokesperson confirmed to Vogue. It’s not the only ring she has that honors Diana—her engagement one, too, includes two stones that once belonged to the Princess of Wales.
Markle waved her statement sparkler at the crowd after hopping in a 1968 Jaguar to her evening reception at Frogmore House.
It’s her second big accessories statement of the day: earlier, she paired her Givenchy wedding gown with Cartier earrings, a Cartier bracelet, and Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau Tiara.
