Met Gala 2017 Live Blog: Rihanna Arrives—Plus More Celebrity Red Carpet Looks in Real Time

The first Monday in May is Met Gala Monday. That means the biggest celebrities, designers, models, and sundry other VIPs will be descending on the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight in their red carpet best to celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between.” The dress code? Avant-garde. Expect A-listers to show up in experimental, out-of-this world looks for the red carpet (this year it’s actually a blue carpet!). Co-chairs Anna Wintour, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Gisele Bündchen, and Tom Brady will be the first to arrive, followed by a slate of pop stars and famous actresses.
