It’s always a party at Michael Kors! This morning, the designer surprised his audience with a swinging live performance by Rufus Wainwright. Everyone left with a smile on their face. Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls, and Julia Nobis were among the all-star model cast, and there was a star-studded front row, too. As for the clothes, all of Kors’s usual signatures were here: the glitzy dresses, the crisp jackets, plus a few unexpected flourishes like 3D flowers and oversize, mod jewelry. While you wait for Nicole Phelps’s review, scroll through 9 of the highlights below.

1. Rufus Wainwright joined his band on stage just before the show. Fans likely recognized his first song, “Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart,” and models took their finale walk to Judy Garland’s “Get Happy.”
2. Kors always casts the models of the moment. This season, that included Taylor Hill, Romee Strijd, and Bella Hadid, who posed together backstage.
3. Joan Smalls opened the show in a navy, high-slit trench dress, platform sandals, and a wide leather belt.
4. Per usual, there were celebs aplenty in the front row. Emily Blunt and Sienna Miller were both there in polka-dotted Kors frocks, while Cameron Dallas looked cool and casual in a white tee.
5. The collection was big on contrasts, from mannish trenches and oversized cardigans to mod floral prints. Chocolate brown and navy was a winning combination on Kendall Jenner, who also wore matching flower earrings.
6. Swimwear always makes a splash at a Kors show. Imaan Hammam’s featured tortoiseshell embroidery, a trim belt, and a tiny ruffled skirt.
7. Kors included a few guys’ looks in the show, too. We can get behind the message on this navy sweater.
8. All of the pink, orange, and kelly-green florals gave way to a group of chic, embellished black dresses like the one Bella Hadid wore.
9. A radiant Carolyn Murphy closed the show in a navy-and-white beaded gown with cut-outs at the ribcage.
