This Fashion Week, Michael Kors embraced the rejuvenation of the South Street Seaport, first with his Spring 2019 show at Pier 17 and then with a glamorous dinner at 10 Corso Como.
The night kicked off with cocktails, as guests like Rose Byrne, Soo Joo Park, Huma Abedin, and Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark milled around the recently opened hot spot. Exuding joyful energy was Tiffany Haddish, who had attendees revolving around her all night.
On display were special-edition Michael Kors Collection pieces, their two-tone fabrics matching perfectly with Corso Como’s black and white background.
It was a buzzing affair—so much so that waiters noticeably struggled to get the ever-mingling attendees to take their seats at the tables. And what beautiful tables they were—Jackson Pollock–like splattered tops were adorned with simple white flowers. A nod to Corso Como’s Milanese roots, the cuisine was Italian, from a pasta course of gnocchi to a main of pollo arrost to a picture-perfect dessert of tiramisu.
