From Alessandro Michele’s glamour girls in ’40s-minded footwear (and ’70s and ’90s, as well) to Miuccia Prada’s luxuriously rendered and entirely sensible (but no less desirable for it) It bags, and from Dolce Gabbana’s invitation to pin it all on to Missoni’s anaconda-length muffler and chunky knit cap to wrap it all up, it was a season full of enviable add-ons.
